Job Situation Update

Work has been interesting lately; when I signed on to my current company, I was 99.9% sure I would not succeed, and all it was, was a rapid struggle to learn as quickly as possible and say one step ahead of expectations so I could show progress, show that I'm worth keeping -- at least long enough to learn something. That was the goal, to learn and grow.

Looking back on those days, it feels somewhat comical, the ease at which I do some of the tasks I dreaded doing; now I teach other people how to do these things and life goes on. Even so, the business of sales is never an easy one and nothing is guaranteed.

As I move more and more away from field work and spend more time running the day to day affairs of the office, I'm facing new challenges but I know if it's difficult, that means I have room to grow. Someday it won't be difficult at all.

Just a heads up, my job may be about 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. There may be days I feel like giving up - but when everything is said and done, I'm having fun.
